Meet Dagmar
I grew up in Austria, where my career began in the everyday world of business operations. Over the years, I've worked across industries and countries, led teams, improved processes, and helped businesses through changes and challenges.

In 2002, I moved to Maine, where I started a new chapter. I've built businesses of my own, worked with organizations of all sizes, and learned that no two businesses—or people—are quite alike.
​
I've never been someone who sits on the sidelines. I enjoy understanding how things work, asking questions, and getting involved.

What Matters to Me
I enjoy meeting people, hearing their ideas, and looking at possibilities they may not have considered. I'm curious by nature, energetic, and I ask a lot of questions.

I'm also straightforward. If something doesn't make sense, an investment may not be worth it, or there's a simpler way to do things, I'll say so. I know my field, but I don't know everything, and I won't pretend to.
​
What i enjoy most is seeing ideas turn into real improvements, people gaining confidence in what they're doing, and businesses moving forward.
Beyond the Business
When I'm not working, you'll probably find me outdoors, hiking, skiing, cooking something from scratch, or spending time with family and friends.

I grew up surrounded by mountains and small towns in Austria, so Maine felt surprisingly familiar when I moved here. The ocean is a wonderful bonus!
​
I'm naturally curious, love learning new things, and usually have another project in mind. And I love a good horror movie—the scarier, the better!
In the Community
I enjoy meeting people, exchanging ideas, and learning from different experiences. Being part of the Nexus community in Maine has given me opportunities to do just that.
