Working across different businesses and industries has taught me that the most valuable lessons often come from asking questions, listening, and understanding what happens in everyday operations.
Here are some of my observations.

Before You Change the System,
Understand the Work
I've seen businesses invest in new technology expecting it to solve problems. Sometimes it helps. But a new system won't automatically fix processes that aren't working.
Before making changes, I want to understand how the work actually gets done.
Where are people struggling? What workarounds have become part of everyday operations? Who makes decisions, and where do things get stuck?
Too often, these questions come up during implementation, when time and money have already been committed.
I believe the people doing the work should be involved early. They often know where the problems are—and sometimes the solution is simpler than anyone expected.
A good place to start? Understand what you have before deciding what you need.
Data Centers: What Should We Know
Data centers are becoming part of more conversations, especially with the growth of artificial intelligence.
But how much do we really understand about their electricity and water consumption, environmental impact, and potential benefits?
Before forming an opinion, I believe it's important to understand the facts, the science, and the questions we should be asking.
An informed opinion starts with understanding.
